CONTROL-ALT-DELETE!

Today is Monday.

I normally don't go for the Monday, fresh start, I'm going on a diet thing... but today I was going to actually refresh my way of eating. I had planned to get back on a more strict eating plan and cut out some of the junk food I have been eating. I've been a  bit off track. Not bad or anything like that, but I had a great time yesterday prepping and getting my food in order. I was excited.

I actually felt pretty good about doing a REBOOT! I felt like my Monday was going to be SUPER AWESOME. Instead, it was SUPER FUNNY. I can't get down about mishaps. I can't say it was bad because I have pretty much laughed all day.

This morning, I somehow backed my husband's Toyota Tundra 5.7L V8 Crew Max into the side of the garage and knocked off his left mirror. Luckily, he said, "I guess you wanted Tow Mirrors?" Yes. There is a large dent in the carport too. I'll see what he says about that when he gets home tomorrow.

Work went well. I did not get my workout in at lunch. I was in the zone at work. I was getting things done. I was uber focused and obsessed. Felt successful.

Then, I took my kids for their pediatric well visits after I got done with work. The pediatrician took a look at my son's ears. Both ears, mind you. He looked at me...

"It appears that your son has teeny tiny legos in each ear."

I burst out laughing! I mean, really?

So, off to the ENT doctor tomorrow to have teeny tiny legos removed from each ear. How did this kid do this?

So tonight, I changed up my diet a little bit and instead of having the grilled chicken salad I planned, I went with whole wheat blueberry pancakes. The blueberries I picked up at the market are so good. They will probably be gone by the end of tonight. It just felt like the right thing for dinner. Yum.

I am going to try and hit CONTROL ALT DELETE and try this again tomorrow!!!!
